Scientific Specialties was started in 1990 by a Ph.D. biochemist who wanted better plasticware than what was available. More than three decades later the design, the tooling, the molding, the analytical lab and the quality system are all still ours, in one building in Lodi, California. All production is sourced in-house, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Our engineering team designs in 3D CAD and prototypes on 3D printers, our tooling team cuts and modifies every single and multi-cavity mold in house, and production runs manual, semi-automated or fully automated depending on what the job needs. If you need a part that does not exist yet, or an existing one changed, that is a normal task for us.
Virgin, high-quality polypropylene, with post-consumer recycled resin available on eligible lines. Every production run is inspected and lot controlled.
